Norfolk man struck with paintball gun

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 52-year-old man suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries after an unknown person struck him with a paintball gun in Norfolk, early Friday morning.

Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded to a call of a possible gunshot victim along the 3500 block of Seay Avenue, shortly after 1:00 a.m.

When officials arrived they discovered the man had been struck with a paintball gun by an unknown subject in the 900 block of Trice Terrace.

The victim was treated by medics on scene. Police continue to investigate.
