CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A contractor in Chesapeake has been charged after one of his customers claimed he had unfinished business.

Christopher Cronin turned himself into the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, then bonded out of custody. He was charged with four counts of obtaining money under false pretenses.

Last week, 10 On Your Side told you the story of Mindy Brown, who said she paid Coastal Towne Development nearly $60,000 to do a major house renovation. She said the work was never finished by Cronin.

Cronin is expected in Chesapeake General District Court on Friday morning for an arraignment.
