NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police arrested a 35-year-old man for a shooting in Norfolk that wounded a 14-year-old boy.
Investigators charged Mitchell Grice with malicious wounding, use of a firearm and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in connection with the August 24 shooting.
Police were called to the Masonic Lodge at 2313 Tidewater Drive at 9:35 p.m. where they discovered the teenage victim. He was taken to the hospital with injuries police said were not life threatening.
Grice is being held in the Norfolk City Jail.
