Man seriously injured in Chesapeake crash

CHESAPEAKE. Va. (WAVY) — A crash on Old Mill Road in Chesapeake Sunday left a man seriously injured.

According to a police spokesman, around 12:00 p.m. a man was driving in the 3500 block of Old Mill Road when his card sideswiped another vehicle, then left the roadway and struck a tree.

An air ambulance flew the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police are on the scene investigating the crash and have closed Old Mill road between Raytee Drive and Pioneer Lane.
