NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives are trying to figure out how a man found dead in Norfolk Thursday died.
Just before 6:30 p.m., emergency dispatchers got a call for a possible gunshot victim in the 8600 block of Glen Myrtle Avenue at the Breezy Point Apartment Complex, according to a Norfolk police press release.
At the scene, officers and rescue workers found a man with injures consistent with being shot. He was declared deceased.
Norfolk detectives are handling the investigation, which is being categorized as an “undetermined death.” Currently, police are not looking for any suspects.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the exact cause of death.
