Shooting victim walks into Norfolk hospital

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man shot in Norfolk late Tuesday night took himself to the hospital, according to police.

Officers were called to the 900 block of W. Little Creek Road shortly before 11 p.m. for a shooting, but when they arrived, they didn’t find a victim.

Not long after that, police received a call about a gunshot victim who walked into DePaul Hospital. Detectives responded to the hospital and spoke with the man, who they say gave inconsistent answers about the possible shooter and the location where he was shot.

The victim’s injuries are considered not life threatening.
