WASHINGTON, DC (WAVY) – It can’t happen for another 13-years, but Daniel Snyder admits he is already designing a new stadium for his Washington Redskins.
Although their lease isn’t up for another 13-years, plans are being made for a new stadium somewhere for the Washington Redskins. In an interview with Comcast SportsNet, Snyder admits it takes time to plan and build a new stadium, and said it could be built in Maryland, Virginia or back in Washington, DC. Sources told the NBC station in Washington these plans possibly include installing a dome and Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe would love to be the guy that brought the NFL to Virginia.
Again, the Redskins have 13 more years on their lease, but I can’t imagine they would stay at Fed Ex Field.
And that was pretty much confirmed by Daniel Snyder tonight.
