Vandals spray graffiti on elementary school playground

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say someone vandalized a playground at a Suffolk elementary school over the weekend.

On Monday around 3 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Northern Shores Elementary School after the principal reported vandalism, according to Diana Klink with Suffolk police.

At the scene, police saw that several pieces of playground equipment and a stop sign at the entrance of the school were covered in metallic-colored graffiti.
