WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Charges have been filed against two out-of-state men after investigators connected them to vandalism in Williamsburg.

Around 11:30 p.m. on May 7, officers were called to the 100 block of Rolfe Road for a report of property damage, according to Major Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department.

Police say there was graffiti sprayed on the white section of a crosswalk, on the rear door of the Trellis restaurant, and on a sign on Jamestown Road.

Two suspects were identified: 19-year-old Jacob Day of Pennsylvania and 19-year-old Adam McCarthy of Massachusetts. Riley said Day was served a charge for misdemeanor destruction of property on Sunday.

A warrant on the same charge has not yet been served to McCarthy.
