CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Officers in Chesapeake took four people into custody Friday afternoon after a brief police pursuit.

Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said the pursuit began at 1:55 p.m. and ended about a minute later.

An officer was trying to pull over a silver vehicle at the intersection of Berkley Avenue and Campostella Road for a traffic infraction. The driver didn’t initially stop, but when the driver did, four occupants got out and started to run.

All four were caught and apprehended, but O’Sullivan did not have any information about any charges that may have been filed.
