The Outback restaurant at Waterside is closed, and Joe’s Crab Shack is being kicked out of the waterfront location. The only restaurant left will be Hooters.

Document: City’s letter to Joe’s Crab Shack

10 On Your Side went to the Australian themed restaurant on Thursday and saw blinds shut and closed signs. We reached out to the city for more info and learned Outback’s lease is up at the end of the month.

As far as Joe’s Crab Shack, the city is trying to kick out the seafood restaurant due to late rent payments. Joe’s has until the end of the month to leave.

Cordish Companies of Baltimore was selected to revitalize the former mall. Construction on the new Waterside Live!, a $40 million overhaul and rebranding, is supposed to begin at the end of this year and should be finished by 2016. The company has not released a list of businesses it hopes to add to the location.
