PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday night in Portsmouth.
Det. Misty Holley with the Portsmouth Police Department said a motorcycle and minivan collided at the intersection of Cavalier Boulevard and Roosevelt Boulevard around 6:30 p.m.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was headed north on Cavalier Boulevard when he collided with the minivan, which was on Roosevelt Boulevard. Holley said the person riding the motorcycle was taken to Maryview Hospital with serious injuries, and later died.
The driver of the minivan, as well as two adults who were passengers in the vehicle, were also injured. Police did not release any details about their injuries.
