NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Charges are pending against three teenagers who police say fled from a stolen vehicle Tuesday in Norfolk.
According to the Norfolk Police Department, officers spotted a stolen vehicle around 4:30 p.m. in the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road. Before officers turned on their lights for a traffic stop, four males jumped out of the vehicle and ran.
Police said the vehicle continued to roll, hitting another car and causing minor damage.
Three of the four people in the car, two 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old, were detained after a brief pursuit. Charges were pending for possession of a stolen auto, hit and run and driving without a license.
No injuries were reported.
According to police, no suspect description was given for the fourth person in the vehicle.
