Norfolk, Va. (WAVY) – A section of Granby Street is reduced to one lane for the rest of this week, as crews work to repair a water main leak.
Road crews will begin work Wednesday morning and are expected to finish by the end of the day Friday. Until then, one southbound lane of Granby Street, between the Granby St. Bridge and Connecticut Avenue, will be closed.
Northbound Granby Street will not be affected, but the city says drivers should expect delays, especially during peak traffic hours. A suggested alternative route is Tidewater Drive.
The city says the closure is to prevent any further damage.
