Both Squires and Farland were charged with robbery, felonious assault, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in February. Their charges were connected to an incident in the 5200 block of Princess Anne Road.

Police say James Sparks was driving a vehicle when he noticed two large construction barrels blocking the road. He exited his vehicle and moved them. Then he saw two men and asked if they had put the barrels in the road, and at some point an altercation ensued.

The men assaulted Sparks and stole some of his things. His mother told WAVY.com Sparks ended up with broken teeth and a broken jaw and had to have surgery.
