NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The couple who started the lawsuit challenging Virginia’s same-sex marriage ban stopped by the WAVY-TV 10 studios Thursday to talk about the historic case.
The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond decided Wednesday not to delay its ruling that struck down the state’s gay marriage ban. That means gay couples could start getting married in the Commonwealth as soon as next week.
Tony London and Tim Bostic, who have been together for 25 years, most of that time living in Norfolk, talked with 10 On Your Side’s Stephanie Harris about what this all means for them.
