Tornado warning cancelled for Middlesex Co.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – A tornado warning was cancelled Tuesday afternoon for Middlesex County, Va., but a severe thunderstorm warning remained in effect until 3:15 p.m.

Meteorologist Tiffany Savona said the storm was above the western portion of Middlesex County, in the Henleys Fork area. She said there was a lot of lightning reported, and expected the storm to stay to the north of Urbana.
