NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person was transported after a multi-vehicle crash in Norfolk Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 3 p.m., a vehicle rolled on its side in the 8,000 block of Old Ocean View Road, according to Officer Daniel Hudson with Norfolk Police. That vehicle hit another vehicle that was in motion as well as a parked vehicle before it came to a stop.

The adult male driver of the at-fault vehicle was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The man was conscious and alert, Hudson said. Paramedics remained at the scene following the crash to evaluate other people involved.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
