CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police say a stolen credit card was used at eight different convenience stores in about three hours, and investigators are asking for help identifying a suspect.
Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said a woman reported to police that her wallet was taken from her purse on July 10. The woman was at a business located in the 1700 block of Parkview Drive the night before.
O’Sullivan said the woman called her bank, and learned that 11 fraudulent transactions had been made with her credit card at eight convenience stores between 1:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. The purchases all took place near Parkview Drive, in the Greenbrier area.
