SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Suffolk man was arrested Monday, after being accused by a grand jury of bigamy.
Officers arrested 38-year-old Kareem Jabbar Giles near Suffolk Police Headquarters on Henley Place. He was charged with one count of bigamy, according to Diana Klink with the city of Suffolk.
A direct indictment from Suffolk Circuit Court stated around May 23, 2013 Giles — who already had a wife — married another person in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Klink said Giles married his first wife on July 7, 2005.
