Credit card fraud suspect sought in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police are working to identify a suspect in connection to a credit card fraud investigation.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said on July 10, police got a report from someone who said their vehicle had been broken into. It happened in the Northern Suffolk area. The victim told police their credit card was one of the items that was taken.

Klink said the credit card was later used by an unknown suspect on July 11 at a Wendy’s located in the 1000 block of Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach. The subject was seen in surveillance video using the credit card at the restaurant’s drive-thru.
