PD: Man fraudulently used credit cards to buy gift cards

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police are looking for a man in connection with a credit card fraud investigation.

According to a news release from Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, several victims have reported their credit cards were being used fraudulently over the past several months.

Police said a man was seen on surveillance video using three of the cards to buy gift cards at various stores on Battlefield Boulevard, in the Great Bridge and Greenbrier areas. Police believe he may be involved in other cases, as well.
