Warrants out for suspect

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Police in Hampton have warrants out for the arrest of a convicted felon now wanted in a recent shooting.

At 2:20 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of E. Pembroke Avenue and found a 24-year-old man who had been shot. The victim told investigators he went to answer his door and that’s when an unknown suspect pulled out a gun and shot him.

Police believe that man was 35-year-old Earlando Harrison who lives on Cape Dorey Drive. He’s wanted on charges of maiming, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The victim was not seriously injured and has been released from the hospital.
