Four in custody after driver refuses to stop

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police say four people were taken into custody Monday morning after a vehicle refused to stop.

Cpl. Melinda Wray with the Norfolk Police Department said officers were dispatched at 4:30 a.m. to investigate a larceny from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Ramblewood Road.

Police spotted the vehicle on North Military Highway, but the driver refused to stop. Wray said the driver lost control, and the vehicle jumped the median at Military Highway and Princess Anne Road.

Four male suspects were taken into custody.

No one was hurt.

No information about possible charges has been released at this time.
