Chesapeake Police seek driver in hit-and-run

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police are looking for a driver who they say backed into another vehicle in Chesapeake, inspected the damage and then left.

Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said at noon on June 24, an unknown woman driving a white Toyota 4-Runner backed into a parked red pickup truck. It happened in the parking lot of Millwood Plaza, which is located at the intersection of Millwood Avenue and Battlefield Boulevard North in the Great Bridge area.

The woman can be seen on surveillance video provided by police hitting the pickup truck, and then getting out to look at the damage before leaving the scene.
