NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The City of Norfolk and the FBI say their bribery investigation has concluded.
Last year, a judge convicted plumbing contractor Andrew Zoby of getting two Norfolk employees to take bribes. Investigators said Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Patrick Lambert, and former City employee Michael Brown, took thousands of dollars worth of free plumbing services at rental properties.
All three men, Brown, Lambert and Zoby, went to prison.
Tuesday, the City of Norfolk and the FBI said they had completed their investigation on July 16, and they are confident no other City workers were ever involved.
