PD: Suspects used man’s credit card after assault, robbery

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Chesapeake Police are looking for two suspects who they say assaulted and robbed a man, and then used his credit card.

Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said on July 6 around 10:45 p.m., two suspects assaulted and robbed a man in the 1100 block of Rodgers Street, near Poindexter Street. Police said the suspects took the man’s wallet and fled.

A short time later, the victim’s credit card was used at several nearby spots.

Police said one of the suspects, a white male, was wearing a green DC t-shirt and appeared to have a large tattoo on his right forearm. The other suspect, a black male, was wearing a black OBEY t-shirt.
