Road back open after truck overturns

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Police say Salem Road in Virginia Beach is back open to traffic after a truck overturned Thursday morning.

According to a tweet sent out earlier in the morning by the Virginia Beach Police Department, Salem Road was blocked from North Landing Road to Landstown Road.

Police told WAVY News the crash involved a delivery truck that overturned and dumped its load. It happened in front of Love and Caring Ministries, located at 1804 Salem Rd.

Salem Road was closed in both directions, but reopened around 11 a.m.
