Eight laptops stolen from school library

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police are investigating the theft of eight laptop computers from Southwestern Elementary School.

According to city spokesperson Diana Klink, the crime occurred sometime between June 11 and July 14. School staff preparing inventory to move into the new Pioneer Elementary School discovered the laptops had been stolen from the library. They are valued at $6,800.
