Three sought after attempted robbery in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Police are looking for three suspects in connection to an attempted robbery over the weekend in Williamsburg.

According to a news release from the Williamsburg Police Department, officers were called to the area of Capitol Landing Road and Bypass Road around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate a reported attempted robbery.

The victim told investigators he was walking from a 7-Eleven back to his hotel on Capitol Landing Road when he was approached by three males. The victim said one of the suspects pulled out a gun, and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The victim fled, and was not injured. Police said the suspects left the scene before officers could arrive.

No suspect descriptions were available.
