HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are asking for the public’s help identifying the people responsible for a convenience store robbery that happened Sunday.

Around 2:50 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven store in the 1400 block of West Queen Street for a report of a business robbery. Investigators learned two suspects with firearms and a third suspect with a knife entered the store and demanded cash.

After they got the money, the suspects fled the business on foot, heading towards Salters Creek Road.

At the time the robbery occurred, no customers were inside the building. Police also say no one was injured. Employees were not able to give police complete suspect descriptions, because the suspects faces were covered.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Hampton Police Division at 757-727-6111. If you want to remain anonymous, you can call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
