PD: No signs of foul play in Norfolk man’s death

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives say there are no signs of foul play after a man was found dead inside a Norfolk home Monday.

Norfolk police dispatchers received a call around 4:20 p.m., requesting a well-being check on a man in the 4800 block of Larkin Street, according to Officer Daniel Hudson. The caller said he/she had not seen the man all day.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 41-year-old Daniel Edgar Rogers deceased in the home.

Hudson said there were no signs of foul play involved in the death, and that it was possibly related to a medical issue.

No further information has been released.
