Norfolk Police identify suspects arrested in weekend shootings

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Police have identified four suspects who were arrested after a string of weekend shootings that injured 15 people. A 17-year-old was also arrested in connection to the incidents.

Four of the suspects are facing charges in connection to a shooting Saturday night in the 1700 block of Jubilee Street. One person was shot in the leg.

Trenton Holland, 18, is charged with one count of malicious wounding, and one count use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Jaquan Lawrence, 19, and Javon Reap, 19, face the same charges. A 17-year-old was also arrested in connection to the shooting.

20-year-old Darius Dennis was arrested in connection to a shooting early Saturday morning on Bagnall Road. Police said an adult was shot. Dennis is charged with one count of malicious wounding, two counts of attempted malicious wounding, three counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

No additional information has been released about the other weekend shooting incidents.
