ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) – A 24-year-old man was hurt Sunday in an Elizabeth City stabbing.
According to the Elizabeth City Police Department, officers were called to 604 A Street around 3:30 a.m. Officers found the 24-year-old inside a residence, bleeding.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of stab wounds to his chest/shoulder and thigh areas.
The victim told police he was outside near the intersection of A Street and Southern Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and someone wearing a brown hoodie got out and began stabbing him.
No arrests have been made at this time, and no additional information was provided to investigators.
