Suspects in Middlesex double shooting face gang charges

MIDDLESEX, Va. (WAVY) – Three men are facing charges for a deadly double shooting at a party in Middlesex County.

Deputies responded to the 300 block of Rocks Road on July 5 for a call of shots fired. They arrived to find Raheem Williams of Gloucester with a fatal gunshot wound. A second victim had been shot in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital.

There were nearly 100 people attending the party. Investigators and deputies from Middlesex, Gloucester and King and Queen counties along with State Police and the FBI worked around the clock interviewing witnesses and persons of interest until they identified suspects in the shooting.

On July 7, 22-year-old Demetrius Paige of Gloucester, 19-year-old Karim Paige of Middlesex and 22-year-old Anthony Frazier of King and Queen were charged with malicious wounding, street gang participation in a predicate criminal act and first degree murder. All three are due in court Wednesday, July 9.

Investigators continue to search for a possible fourth suspect.
