VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A recently rehabilitated and released sea turtle is back at the Virginia Aquarium Marine Animal Care Center after getting snagged for the second time.

“Voldemort” was hooked by a fisherman at the Naval Station Norfolk fishing pier over the weekend. It was lodged deep in his throat, requiring surgery to remove it.

He was just released last Wednesday after recovering from a separate fishing accident at Buckroe Fishing Pier in Hampton at the end of June.

The good news is Voldemort is expected to make a full recovery again.
