Myers was killed in the crash, and a passenger was airlifted. Monday, State Police said she also passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

She has been identified as 48-year-old Misty Dawn McIntyre of Newport, Va.

WAVY News 10 talked to a woman who saw the plane go down and tried to help the passenger.

“One of the guys was lifting up the part of the plane and another guy was trying to pull a lady out. And I got under and helped untangle her head, I don’t know if it was the seat belt or something, and helped pull her out. The pilot was already gone. I guess he died on impact,” she said.

Anaya said the Federal Aviation Administration was notified, and an investigator is responding to the scene. Troopers were also continuing to investigate the crash.

Middlesex County Sheriff’s deputies told WAVY News the plane did not hit any other structures.
