Suffolk road reopens after tractor-trailer accident

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Whaleyville Boulevard in Suffolk reopened Saturday evening after a tractor-trailer crash.

According to Tim Kelley with the City of Suffolk, crews were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. of the accident involving an overturned unloaded tractor-trailer on Whaleyville Boulevard near Freeman Mill Road.

Whaleyville Boulevard was closed in both directions, and a detour was in place.

No injuries were reported.
