Missing 6-year-old with autism found unharmed

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Newport News Police say a 6-year-old boy with autism who went missing Saturday afternoon has been found unharmed.

According to a police spokesman, Trent Landon Totty of the 200 block of Malden Lane has last been seen at his residence around 12:35 p.m. At some point after 12:35 p.m. Trent left his residence without his parents knowing.

Around 4 p.m., police said Trent Totty had been found unharmed. He was located inside a neighbor’s house when the neighbor returned hom.
