Tides hold on for 4-3 win over Charlotte

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Tides scored three, two-out runs in the bottom of the second inning in their 4-3 win over the Charlotte Knights in front of over 8,000 fans at Harbor Park.

Norfolk eventually won it in the bottom of the ninth on bases loaded walk.

It’s the Tides second walk off win in a row.

Pitcher Tyler Wilson, who lives outside of Richmond, made his first start at the AAA level and the 24-year-old pitched 6 innings, surrendering only one run.
