PD: Armed suspect robs VB convenience store

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said around 11:55 p.m. on June 29, the suspect went into the 7-Eleven located at 5444 Virginia Beach Boulevard, armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money from the clerk, and fled in an unknown direction.

No one was hurt.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5’7” to 5’10” tall, wearing a red jacket, blue hood, grey sweatpants and a bandana covering his face.
