Cab driver robbed in York County

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Deputies in York County are looking for a person who robbed a cab driver late Wednesday night.

The incident happened in the 5700 block of Route 17 around 10 p.m. An unknown suspect approached the cab driver as she got out of her vehicle and put the key in the door of the Yorktown Shuttle office.

The suspect implied he had a gun and robbed the woman of an undisclosed amount of money. He was described as a white male standing about 6’ with dark, medium length hair. He was wearing a long, black shirt and blue pants at the time of the robbery.
