Admirals enforcer Stortini signs with Flyers

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Off season moves continue in the National Hockey League, and some of those moves have had trickle down effects for the Admirals.

Zack Stortini, one of Nofolk’s most popular players and its on ice enforcer has signed a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers organization.

When order was needed to be restored on the ice, the Admirals almost always turned to Stortini last season.

He led the American Hockey League in penalty minutes last season.

Stortini’s deal is a two-way contract and we will more than likely see him back at Scope, only this time as a member of the Flyers AHL team.
