VBPD seeks information in serial robberies

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police need help identifying two suspects involved in a string of robberies.

MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said three robberies and one attempted robbery have consistencies and officers believe the same suspects may be involved.

The incidents have occurred at the following times:

  • Feb. 11, 2014 – 7-Eleven, 812 Baker Rd.
    June 18, 2014 – 7-Eleven, 521 Newtown Rd.
    June 21, 2014 – 7-Eleven, 812 Baker Rd.
    June 28, 2014 – Burger King, 564 Newtown Rd.

Borman said one suspect is responsible for all four incidents and is described as a black male in his mid-20s, standing 5’8” to 5’9” with a thin build.

A second suspect was involved in the June 18 robbery and is described as black male in his mid-20s, standing over 6’ with a thin build.
