Suffolk residents plagued by mailbox vandals

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police are investigating a number of similar vandalism reports from over the weekend.

Saturday morning, two residents on Holy Neck Road and one resident on Ellis Road told police someone had damaged their mailboxes at some point over night. On Monday morning six residents on Old South Quay Road woke up to the same discovery.

Tim Kelley with Suffolk police said there are no suspects in any of the cases, no witnesses or leads. The only connections is the proximity and time of offense.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
