Smoke pours from vacant home in fire

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – No one was hurt in a house fire in Suffolk Thursday morning.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the fire sparked around 7:20 a.m. in the 2100 block of Oregon Avenue. There, they found moderate smoke coming from a vacant home.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

The cause remains under investigation.
