SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a woman was not injured after the vehicle she was driving crashed, flipped and caught fire.

The single-vehicle crash happened Thursday around 6 p.m. in the 3700 block of Holland Road (Route 58), according to Diana Klink with Suffolk Police.

Klink said the vehicle flipped onto its roof and was on fire, but that the driver was somehow not injured. She did not provide further details.

Both westbound lanes of westbound Holland Road/Route 58 are currently closed to traffic, but Klink said one lane is expected to open soon to allow traffic to flow while the vehicle is removed from the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
