NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — US Marshals and Norfolk police officers have arrested a man wanted in the investigation of a shooting earlier this month.

Artae K. Bellamy, 31, was arrested in the 2500 block of Leo Street in Norfolk Tuesday night, according to Officer Daniel Hudson with Norfolk Police. He was charged with felonious assault and use of a firearm.

Hudson said the charges stem from a shooting that happened June 4 in the 2400 block of East Princess Anne Road. A man received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Bellamy is being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
