Suffolk police investigate school break-ins

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police are looking for the person who broke into Hillpoint Elementary school and left a mess.

Police say the vandalism happened sometime between 5:40 p.m. last Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The suspect allegedly entered the building in the 1100 block of Hillpoint Boulevard by breaking a window. According to Suffolk police, several computers and a printers were overturned and freezer doors were left open in the cafeteria, causing the food to spoil.

The suspect or suspects also rummaged through desk drawers in the office.
