SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A business in Suffolk was robbed of commercial grade riding mowers over the weekend.

On Monday, officers responded to White Oak Equipment in the 1200 block of Progress Road for a report of four Kubota riding mowers that had been stolen from in front of the business, according to Diana Klink with the city of Suffolk.

While one of the mowers was later found at the rear of the premises, the complainant said offenders came onto the property, removed part of the gate at the back of the business and stole the other three mowers.

Klink said the incident happened sometime between close of business on Saturday and Monday morning.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
